Sinotruk produced China first truck - Huanghe JN150 8T truck.
1963
The Huanghe 350 dump truck has been developed successfully.
1978
Roman trucks are assembled and produced using the SKD method. Over a decade leading to 1991, more than 8,000 Roman trucks were manufactured.
1983
SINOTRUK officially signs a contract with Austria Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG for introducing the manufacturing technology of Steyr 91 series heavy-duty truck, the first of its kind approved by the Chinese government.
1985
China first Steyr truck rolls off the assembly line.
2003
Sinotruk and Volvo signed the joint venture project on heavy trucks, and the joint venture company was established.
2004
The HOWO series heavy duty truck rolled off the production line, marking the beginning of the convergence of China heavy-duty vehicle technology with the advanced international heavy-duty vehicle technology.
2006
An advanced heavy-duty vehicle engine production line has officially commenced operations, meeting international standards.
2007
SINOTRUK is listed on the main board of the HKSE as a red chip under the name SINOTRUK (HK) Limited. This represents the company starting point for entering the international capital market.
2009
SINOTRUK and MAN have entered an agreement for strategic cooperation, through which MAN has become a shareholder of SINOTRUK (Hong Kong) Limited. Both sides initiated cooperation in every respect such as complete vehicle, engine, chassis, axle etc.
2013
The first SITRAK heavy-duty truck, a joint effort between SINOTRUK and Germany MAN, has officially rolled off the production line.
2015
China exclusive National Heavy-duty Automotive Engineering Technology Research Center was completed.
2016
SINOTRUK has introduced its first-generation intelligent truck, featuring advanced driver assistance systems including EBS, ESC, AEBS, ACC, LDWS, and HSA.
2018
The world first driverless electric truck made by SINOTRUK has started trial operations at Tianjin Port. It is equipped with the BeiDou Positioning System and features devices such as LiDAR, millimeter-wave radar, and cameras.
2020
Adhering to a forward-thinking R&D approach, SINOTRUK combines cutting-edge local and international technologies to redefine its high-end, homegrown brand. The brand-new, next-generation Huanghe heavy-duty truck has been officially unveiled in Jinan.
